"Honoring Our Heroes: A Remembrance Day Tribute from me"

As we pause today to reflect on Remembrance Day, I am filled with gratitude and a deep sense of pride for the heroes who have served and continue to serve in the forces, ensuring the precious freedoms we hold dear. This day holds special significance for me, as I think of my husband, my stepson, my brother-in-law, my father-in-law, my grandmother, both grandfathers, and the many friends and family who have dedicated themselves to protecting our way of life.

In honor of those who've worn the uniform, thank you. Your unwavering bravery and commitment have left an indelible mark on our family and our nation, embodying the true spirit of heroism.

In fields of poppies, red and bold, A tale of bravery, often untold. Heroes stood with courage, side by side, Their sacrifice, our eternal guide.
Through battles fought and hardships borne, A legacy of valor, brightly worn. For every soul who wore the crest, In our hearts, you find your rest.
So, on this day, with poppies bright, We remember heroes, strong and light. With gratitude, our voices raise, To those who've shaped our freedom's gaze.
